As an Air Barrier
Spray foam is the best air barrier of the insulation types, with the closed cell foam being the very best.
For Sound Attenuation
Spray foam provides significant noise reduction properties over other insulation types. Applications include elevator shafts, demising walls between condominiums & apartments, hospital quiet rooms, offices and hotels.
